Davos Chalet is a charming, ski-in, ski-out, lake-view chalet w/ 20 bedrooms, 2 kitchens and AC in the top floor rooms.
Discover this 20-bedroom gem on the Whitecap ski area in Upson. This brilliant chalet offers guests a choice of renting one room, a wing, an entire floor or the entire chalet. Each floor offers 10 bedrooms with private baths, a kitchen, a dining room, 2 common restrooms, and a large living room with an expansive deck overlooking the ski area and Weber Lake. Each room has either a queen bed or bunk beds with hair dryers, and essential amenities like AC, iron, heating, and WiFi. Relax in the cozy interiors and enjoy the wonderful outdoor surroundings.
We have 2 kayaks on the lake for your use. There is a new Weber gas grill and a picnic table right at the base of the 1st floor deck. The basement includes an un-remodeled game room (retro style 1970's wood paneling) with a new table tennis game, competition-level foosball table, dart board and an older-model air hockey table along with a sauna and an equipment drying room.
The first and second floor living areas have games and smart TVs. The first floor kitchen includes a new induction stove, stainless steel refrigerator, ice maker and new cabinets, sink and faucet.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT DAVOS CHALET
ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS:
- There are TVs in the common rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors.
- We do not have TVs in the rooms.
- There are no telephones at Davos - it's 2024 - you have a cell phone (or multiple cell phones).
- It get's COLD in northern WI - be prepared!
- In the winter access to Davos is through a tunnel at the end of the parking lot. You get to walk under a ski run!

- A new kitchen on floor 1.
- 4 New common area bathrooms.
- All new common area lighting.
- Newer furniture, brought in from a Sheraton in Cleveland.
- New Mitsubishi mini-split air conditioners and heaters on floors 2 & 3. (Floor 1 stays below 70 all summer - mostly!)
- New sauna door with a window!
- New sauna heater and digital control.
- Blackout curtains in rooms.
- New artwork throughout.
- New games in the basement - table tennis, foosball, air hockey & Darts.
- Newly graded and enlarged parking lot.
- Drying room for boot, helmet and glove drying.

Whitecap has access to 100s of miles of snowmobile & UTV trails, beautiful hiking paths and is located within a short drive of numerous waterfalls. We're less than 2 hours away from kayaking the Apostle Islands, 30 minutes from the famous Copper Peak ski jump.
